Addressing Disadvantage

10 Day ANLP Certificated NLP Practitioner Training

From Just £300

This "10 Day" NLP Practitioner training programme is accredited by the Association of NLP (ANLP). Participants "successfully completing" the programme will be awarded an NLP Practitioner Certificate. Training takes place over alternate weekends starting 13th February 2009.

As community professionals working to support disadvantaged people, poverty and social deprivation we recognise that sustainable motivation and authentic empowerment of clients takes more than providing advice or doing it for them. It necessitates having the skills to enable a shift in their attitudes, beliefs and perceptions. Given that change can't be forced (it would neither be sustainable or ethical) we need to explore and develop new methods of changing "how" we as potential "change makers", engage and support our clients. In short, we can only change our results by changing ourselves.

NLP provides an adviser facilitated ethical approach that empowers clients to develop a degree of ownership in recognising the issues and identifying their role in resolving them.

Recent years has seen Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) develop into a respected and powerful tool set for engaging, understanding and facilitating ethical and sustainable change within people. It is used within many professions including Health, Education, Coaching and therapeutic settings. NLP training enables the practitioner (such as IAG adviser / employment support workers) to connect with the client at a much deeper level.

Deep rapport supported by an authentic sense of curiosity is an essential precursor to facilitating the exploration of circumstances and needs in such a way as to ascertain what is really going on. NLP is highly outcome orientated and utilises a toolkit of techniques, process's and language patterns to facilitate the clients exploration of possibilities, and in so doing starting the process of creating choice, possibilities and achievable aspirations.

Whilst NLP Practitioner training is typically fairly expensive, Kochin NLP Training and Coaching Associates have agreed to offer Sponsored places to Birmingham's Worklessness Organisations. This equates to a significant 70% discount* off its 10 day ANLP accredited NLP Practitioner programme. Typical private sector cost for this training is significantly in excess of £1000.
